Senior Software Engineer - Platform

The successful candidate will support the company by examining business requirements, testing, implementing, and designing software solutions to those requirements. Responsibilities:

-Responsible for delivering market software that results in the top-quality profile desired for each piece of software

-Test, design, & develop software

-Build meaningful functional, unit, & integration level tests for built software

-Serve as a vital participant in technical design & peer coding review sessions

- Participate in Technical Specifications & Requirements Analysis

-Write user, design, & test documentation

-Responsible to design software that meets the specific business requirements & objectives

-If requirements are unclear or vague, must be able to reach out and further refine requirements

-Responsible for complying with Standard Operating Procedures & contributing to further refining Coding, Design, & Test Standards, Processes, and Test Package Maintenance

Qualifications:

-BSCS or related field

-At least four years experience with Java

-At least two years of Java Spring framework experience & database / SQL development

-MVC (Model-View-Controller) and Hibernate framework experience is a plus

-Web UI development, JavaScript, CSS, Ajax, DHTML, Velocity, JavaScript framework, & YUI library experience is a plus

-Solid communication skills & the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced development environment

-Strong problem solving & analytical skills, as well as, the ability to make independent decisions with little supervision
